For years, I have been buying “pieces” of clothing; a skirt here, a blouse there
You know what I’m talking about. You do it too.
That’s why we all have a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear!
Don’t despair….There is a cure .
First, clean out your entire closet.
Put skirts in a pile, blouses in another pile, pants in another, jackets & sweaters in another.
Re-assemble your closet with “outfits”.
Pick a jacket, pair it with a skirt and slacks, find a blouse that looks good and a sweater and hang them together.
Voila! No more looking for a complete outfit in the morning.
You can even accessorize with a necklace on the hanger, if you are so inclined.
This will save you a lot of time and lessen your frustration when you are in a hurry.
It will also help you recall what you really have in your closet, when you are shopping.
If you are organizationally challenged, as I was, you can photograph your outfits and keep a notebook
or just keep them on your I-phone for reference.
Then, when you are shopping, you can access your record to make sure you don’t purchase duplicates.
The result… you save money, you know what’s in your closet, you have outfits ready on a moment’s notice and you look totally fabulous when you leave the house.
There it is… the perfect antidote to a closet full of nothing.
Love this! Planning to do it even if I have to take a day off expressly for this purpose!
